The Pre-Round is an exclusive opportunity to acquire preliminary MID tokens (pMID) before the official launch of the protocol. Participants can exchange 1 USD for 1 pMID. To join the Pre-Round, you need to contribute USD to the designated smart contract during the Pre-Round period.
All funds raised during the Pre-Round are securely held in a smart contract that is transparent and auditable on the blockchain. The team cannot access or withdraw these funds until the successful launch of the protocol, ensuring that your investment is safeguarded.
Your 1 pMID tokens will be automatically converted to 1 MID tokens at the time of Protocol Generation, which is the official launch of Midgard. This conversion happens seamlessly, and you will receive MID tokens equivalent to the amount of pMID you hold.
When you stake your MID tokens in the staking contract, you receive SMID tokens representing your staked assets.
